The Short Version

SaneClick collects zero data. Everything happens on your Mac. We never see your scripts, your files, or anything else.

Data Collection

SaneClick does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics - We don't track how you use the app
• No telemetry - No crash reports or usage data are sent
• No network requests - The app works entirely offline
• No cloud sync - Your scripts stay on your device

Local Storage

SaneClick stores your scripts and settings locally on your Mac in the app's container. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

Finder Extension

The Finder Sync Extension accesses file paths only when you right-click to show the context menu. These paths are passed to your scripts but are never stored or transmitted anywhere.

Script Execution

Scripts you create run locally on your Mac with your user permissions. SaneClick does not modify, monitor, or log script execution beyond showing you the output.

Updates

SaneClick checks for updates via GitHub Releases. This is a standard HTTPS request to github.com and does not transmit any personal information.
